Before Chris flew to the Asian X-Games earlier this year he made a stop in Pretoria for a couple of days to skate with his old crew. It was the best fun to hang out with his old friends and to have those street sessions where you would hit a single rail for hours. ENJOY..!

That’s right: it’s finally time for Ocean Beach Surf and Skate’s 6th Annual Skate Jam at the Ocean Beach Street Fair and Chili Cook-Off! Previously held on Cable Street between Newport Avenue and Santa Monica, this year the Skate Jam will be held in parking lot of Ocean Beach Surf and Skate’s new shop, located in the heart of the street fair at 4976 Newport Avenue. The Skate Jam will feature our all new 3ft Mini Ramp as well as an awesome street course, a DJ spinning killer beats, great prizes and tons of free swag. Open skate sessions will run before and after the skate contest which will kick off at 1:00 pm. Following the jam will be a live demo from some of the industry’s hottest skateboarders, as well as an awards ceremony for contest winners and contestants. The 6th Annual OB Street Fair Skate Jam is FREE and open to all ages and abilities. Entry forms are available at Ocean Beach Surf and Skate. Helmets are required for all participants under 18 years old.

Daniel Prell USD Carbons 2010 Edit
Great edit from one of Europe’s top skaters. Daniel show’s off some of his amazing flat rail skills.
When I wrote the article about the new Usd carbon limited (if you havnt seen it its danielll.wordpress.com/2010/06/01/usd-carbon-limited-test/) I promised to come up with an edit. “Unfortunately” we filmed the edit with my new canon eos 7d and I had only 1 battery. As a result we ran out of battery at the second spot. So instead of a “my first day with the new carbon limited edit” I decided to make a “my first 2 (1/2) days with the new carbon limited edit”. My mate basti filmed and took pictures the same time.

Son Skate Comp
Awesome day at the Son Skate park. BMXing, Inline Skating, and Skateboarding. More videos to be posted and pics to be added into Gallery once I receive them. I was fortunate enough to be a judge for the Inline and was a hard task to do. They are all amazing talent, but at the end it consisted of Difficulty, Style, Creativity, and Consistency.
